Atlantis is an island claimed to be "lost" as part of a mythical continent, and is generally considered a utopian society that is developed and has enough wisdom to bring world peace. The idea of Atlantis has fascinated Dreamers, occultists and New Age (New Age) for generations. In the 1800s, the Mystic Madame Blavatsky claimed to have learned about Atlantis from Tibetan gurus; a hundred years later, the psychic Edgar Cayce claimed that Atlantis (an advanced civilization powered by antiquity and crystals) would be discovered in 1969. 1980s New Age Mystic J.Z. Knight claimed to have learned about Atlantis through a 35,000-year-old warrior spirit named Ramtha. There are thousands of books, magazines and websites about Atlantis, and it is still a popular topic. In contrast to the origins of Legends Lost in the mists of time, we know when and where the story of Atlantis first appeared. This story is based on Plato's m.He. It is described in his two dialogues "Timaeus" and "Critias", written in the time of 330. Although Atlantis is portrayed today as a peaceful utopia, the Atlantis told by Plato in his tale is different. In his book Frauds, Myths and Mysteries: Science and Psuedoscience in archaeology, archaeology professor Ken Feder summarizes the story as follows: : "An evil empire, technologically advanced but morally decadent-Atlantis - is trying to take over the world by force. The only obstacle facing him is a group of people who are relatively spiritually pure, morally principled and indestructible, that is, the ancient Athenians. By overcoming overwhelming differences, the Athenians manage to defeat their enemies, who are much stronger than themselves, only with the power of spirits. Does that sound familiar? Plato's Atlantic Dialogues are officially the ancient Greek version of 'Star Wars'."

As Propaganda, The Legend of Atlantis was more about heroic Athenians than a submerged civilization. If Atlantis really existed and was discovered today, the natives would try to kill us and turn us all into slaves. It is clear that Plato concocted Atlantis as a conspiracy device for his stories, because no records of Atlantis have been found anywhere on earth. There are still a lot of extant Greek inscriptions, and surely someone (at least someone passing by) should have mentioned such a huge place. Before Plato, there was no evidence from any source on the legends about Atlantis. Even if it is clear that it is based on fiction, many people have claimed for centuries that some truth lies behind these myths, and they have made predictions about where Atlantis may be found. Many Atlantis "experts" acted on the same facts and stated that the Lost Continent was found all over the earth. Each with its own types of evidence and arguments, the candidates counted the following places: the Atlantic Ocean, Bolivia, Turkey, Germany, Malta and the Caribbean. But Plato is very clear about where Atlantis is: "There was a time when ships could pass for the ocean; in front of the mouth, as you Greeks say, is an island larger than the 'pillars of Heracles' (i.e. Hercules), a combination of Libya and Asia." In other words, it is located in the Atlantic Ocean beyond the" pillars of Hercules " (i.e. the Strait of Gibraltar, the mouth of the Mediterranean Sea). Despite this, it has not been found in the Atlantic or anywhere else. Despite advances in oceanography and ocean floor mapping in recent decades, no trace of Atlantis has been found. It is understandable that readers over the course of two millennia have harbored thoughts that somewhere deep down there is a sunken city or continent. Although there are many mysteries in the depths of the Earth's oceans, it is inconceivable how all the Earth's oceanographers (marine scientists), submarine divers and probes descending to deep sea levels overlook a land "larger than the combination of Libya and Asia." Moreover, tectonic plates suggest that Atlantis ' existence is impossible. As countries shifted, the seabed spread over time, as opposed to shortening. In short, Atlantis has nowhere to sink. As Ken Feder notes, " the geology is clear; there is no place in the region where Plato placed Atlantis where such a large place could sink. However, modern archaeology and geology give us a definitive decision: there was no Atlantic continent, and there was no Supreme civilization called Atlantis." Myth Generated From Misinterpretatiobns The only way to make Atlantis mysterious (and claim that it was once a real place) is to ignore the fact that its origin is clearly a moral tale, and by changing the details in Plato's story, it can either be out of error or pretend that the real truth is hidden with it, with the intention of deceiving it. Any place suggested by additions, omissions or misinterpretations to various details in Plato's work can be "fit"into the information he offers.

However, L. As Sprague de camp notes in his book Lost Continents, "you can't change all the details in Plato's story and claim to have Plato's story. It's like saying that the legendary King Arthur is really Cleopatra. All you have to do is change Cleopatra's Gender, Nation, period, temperament, moral character and other details, and so that the similarity is then clearly visible." The Legend of Atlantis still lives on, taking its fuel from society's interest and imagination in the idea of a long-lost utopia. But "The Lost City of Atlantis" was never lost. He was where he always was, and that's Plato's books.
